What’s The Story?
In a digital generation, forging connections with our peers is difficult. Forging connections with businesses or brands is even harder. In order to build a relationship with our clients that is conducive to reaching fitness goals, we want to give you the opportunity to connect with our brand by telling you a little more about our history and principles.
Our personal trainer, Michelle Golla, has been in the fitness industry for more than two decades. As a former athlete, she found a passion for running and wanted to share that passion with her clients. This led her to achieve three certifications in unique wellness specialties: running coaching, health and wellness coaching, and personal training.
Boost 180 Fitness
When it came time for Michelle to expand her digital presence and rebrand, Boost 180 Fitness was born. When building a training plan for a client, we focus on two core pieces: running and transforming. With the name Boost 180 Fitness, the number encapsulates both.
Running
Running is where Michelle got her introduction to the fitness community. As a decorated marathon runner, Michelle has an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of the body when running. A general rule of thumb in the running world is that peak performance occurs when a runner is taking 180 strides or more per minute. While this is not a hard and fast rule, it is a great starting point from which experienced trainers can build an individual fitness plan around.
Transforming
